About Us
Life on the Land
Mornings here in Montana aren’t quiet or polished — they start early, often before the sun. There’s coffee on the stove, boots by the door, and work waiting outside. Cattle don’t take a day off, and neither do we. Winters are long, summers are short, and every season has its own demands. Six years ago, we traded in the pace of town life for 200 acres of pasture and hillsides. It wasn’t glamorous, and it sure wasn’t easy, but we wanted our kids to grow up knowing the value of work, the feel of soil in their hands, and where real food comes from. Every day since has been about keeping this land alive and letting it keep us honest in return.
A Husband & Wife Dream
At the center of it all are Jack and Sarah. He grew up on small farms, where fixing a broken fence and putting in a full day’s work were just part of being alive. She always had a knack for making food that brought people together — hearty meals, simple ingredients, nothing fancy, just good. When they came to Montana, they weren’t chasing a business plan. They were chasing a way of life: raising cattle, tending horses, and raising kids who knew where their meals came from. But somewhere between the barn chores and the kitchen table, the idea for Farmer Protein started to take shape.
From Kitchen Experiment to Farm Protein
Like a lot of good things, it started small. Store-bought protein never sat right with us — too many fillers, too processed, and never something we’d want to hand to our kids. So the first batches of Farmer Protein were mixed right in our farmhouse kitchen. Grass-fed whey from our cattle, collagen to support the wear and tear of long days, and hemp protein for balance. We didn’t set out to build a company. We just wanted a protein that worked as hard as we did — something honest, simple, and nourishing. Neighbors started asking for bags, then friends, and before long, we realized we had something worth sharing far beyond our fence line.
What We Believe
What We Believe Every scoop of Farmer Protein carries the same values that get us out of bed before dawn: Work hard. Eat honest. Food should be simple and real. Family first. We make products we trust enough to give our own kids. No shortcuts. From the land to the bag, we do it right or not at all. Built to last. Protein that supports real life — strong bodies, long days, and the little moments in between. From our farm in Montana to your home, thank you for letting us share a piece of our life with you.
